Kutxa has always contributed towards the development of our culture in its various forms by supporting the initiatives of artists.
This has resulted in the acquisition of a wealth of works of great artistic, documentary and historical value: paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings and etchings, ceramics, tapestries, bibliographical works, etc.

Fototeka, a huge photograph library of over 1 million images that reflect the political, social and cultural history of Gipuzkoa throughout the 20th century in addition to others catalogued as being of particular importance in the History of Photography from its beginnings halfway through the 19th century.

Art
About 5,500 works including paintings, sculptures and graphics of authors mainly from Gipuzkoa or linked to Gipuzkoa, references in the artistic movements that have been taking place since the end of the 19th century.

Books
Dr.Camino Library, over 14,500 books and documents belonging to the Library of the Dr. Camino Institute; they deal with the history of Donostia-San Sebastian and of the Basque Country.

kubo-kutxa
The kubo-kutxa was created in 2000, within the Kursaal, a landmark building designed by Rafael Moneo, and it has grown into one of the premier cultural spots in Donostia/San Sebastian. Its 1000m2 of exhibit floor and unique arquitectural features make it the perfect venue for large exhibits.

kutxa kultur artegunea
The kutxa kultur artegunea gallery was created to bring art and artistic practices closer and better known to the public, with an emphasis on basque art and in particular art from Guipuscoa. This space is located in the Tabakalera building, the new focus for the city, and is managed as part of the Kutxa Kultur program.

Dr. Camino Library
The Dr. Camino Library is a reference library when it comes to the history of Gipuzkoa and the city of San Sebastian. It holds more than 14500 books and documents, and it is one of the legacies of the famed Dr. Camino Institute that was devoted to research into the history of the city.
